Congratulations to Liam Bonthrone (tenor) who, with accompanist Wilson Chu, has won the Elgar Spedding Memorial Lieder Prize at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Liam’s recital included Schubert’s, Ungeduld from Die Schöne Müllerin; Beethoven’s Adelaide Op.46; Schumann’s Nachtlied Op 96 No.1; and Cäcilie by Richard Strauss.

Liamwas one of the founder singers in the Jambouree Choir and has performed regularly with the choir over all these years.
